Bellydance Workshops

Drum Solos with Katie Holland- 1.30-3pm - £15
Learn how to perfect your own unique drum solo through understanding Arabic rhythms, layer shimmies on your shimmies and generally create a show stopping performance. This replaces the early workshop with Zehara which has had to be cancelled due to unforseen circumstances.

Move to the Groove with Zehara- 3.30-50pm - £15
An energetic session to fabulous rhythmic world music with stong African overtones. Using the whole body in a very integrated way with Large exhuberant movement with natural grace, elegance and earthy power. Open Level.

Holistic Bellydance with Fiora Touliatou
Gaia Studio, Treharris Street, Roath, Cardiff

Holistic bellydance is inspired by traditional bellydance moves, the North African trance dances Zaar and Guedra, the Persian Khaleegi, holistic therapies and elements of Kundalini yoga. The intention is to focus on the healing effects of bellydance and experience it as a moving meditation. There won't be sequences, choreography or musical interpretation taught.

Choice of session - 10am till midday or 1 till 3pm - £15
